DiPasquale, our competent principal, has ably guided and assisted our students to greater advancements in learning during his two years at Tolleston. The moral and social conduct of the stu- dents has been improved considerably through his constant concern and aid. To have Tolleston students excel in scholarship, manners, and sportsmanship was his principal aim. Throughout the school, changes were made. Our long awaited science buildings and gym were finally completed. The rooms and halls ofthe old building have taken on a new appear- ance. The campus grounds and park have been cleaned and improved. All this can be attrib- uted to our principal.

Service with a smile was the motto of the girls in the office. They helped the students with making program changes, returning lost articles, and collecting book rental. Their secretarial duties-typing, filing, taking dictation, and answering the telephones- were performed cheerfully. Mrs. Iones, Miss Skoczen, and Miss Sudroff of the grade school office performed their tasks in a friendly manner. The cooperation of Mrs. Gaski, treasurer: Mrs. Blakey, high school registrar: and Mrs. Stankich, attendance and transcript secretary, was a contributing factor. Mr. Belle, of the Personnel Department, was a man with many duties. Besides checking and follow- ing up on absentees and truants, he was able to advise students on social and financial problems. Miss Platt, our nurse, attended to the needs of all students. Mr. Belle, head of the Pupil Personnel Depart ment, is busy making telephone calls. -J
