The newest look in our school administration is Mr. Richard Carrabine, the assistant principal. He, and our competent principal, Mr. DiPasquale, have ably guided and assisted our students to greater advancements in learning and character. The Gary Board of Education, under the leadership ot Dr. Alden Blankenship, has co-operated fully to improve educa- tional standards in Tolleston as well as other Gary area schools. The new science and shop rooms, not only enabled our teachers to better train the future scientists and machinists of our country, but they also helped greatly to relieve crowded classrooms and halls. The new gym served to bring the student body and administrators together in better understand- ing and harmony. .. 5
