The old jalopies which could usually be seen in the school parking lot were now shiny new cars, and the young ladies and gentlemen who emerged from them only faintly resembled the students we saw walking through Tolleston's halls every da . YBoys in tuxedos and girls in fluttering iormals could be seen dancing to the music of Iohn Nolan and his orchestra. Moments To Remembe r Ioe Perko. Hanna Guip, and Mary Wallace look on as Bob Trzeciak tries on his gown. Several seniors are busily looking through college catalogues As the band begins to play the traditional Pomp and Circumstance, a hush falls over the huge Memorial Auditorium. The seniors march down the aisle and onto the stage, where they will stand together for the last time. With mixed emotions, the class sings You'll Never Walk Alone, and on-e can see both smiles and tears. The magic words, C1ass of 1960, you are now graduated, close a very important door in our lives, but they also open the doors of the future. Behind these doors lie many respon- sibilities, disappointments, and rewards, which will have to be taken into stride. The Class of Sixty has set its goals high, and it will live up to them. Graduation is one ot the most memorable events in our lives.
