Football Season Everyone seems to be looking for something. Could it be the ball. boys? Since homecoming is the highlight of football season, it doesn't take long for the enthusiasm to spread throughout the whole school. A pep session began this year's homecoming weekend. This was followed by a hectic rush to gather wood and boxes for the bonfire Thursday evening. The students gathered on the baseball field, to watch the blazing fire and cheer the team on to victory. The homecoming game was played against Valparaiso on Friday, October 16. ,Though we were losing, the crowd remained in high spirits through- out the game. lust as homecoming is the highlight of football season, the crowning of the homecoming queen is the highlight of the homecoming ceremonies. A new method was used in selecting this year's queen - the candidates had to sell tickets. The girl who sold the largest number of tickets was chosen to reign over the festivities. After a beautiful half-time exibition by the band and the majorettes, Carole Sebben, the top salesgirl, was crownedi queen. Sharon Williams, Hanna Guip, Grace Engel, and Sarah O'Neal made up her court. The girls were driven around the field in convertibles as the band played Let Me Call You Sweetheart. Shirley Johanson, one of the majorettes, followed with a fiery baton-twirling act. The annual home- coming dance was held after the game as a perfect ending to a hectic weekend. Our first touchdown touches off the spirit of the crowd. The bonfire burns brightly the night before the game.

Seniors Wltemember When Seniors recall memories of the years gone by at their last class party. Since this was their last class party, the seniors tried to make it one that they would always remem- ber. The theme ot the party, Remember When, was carried out by decorations which commemorated the class parties of the years gone by. As they walked into the gym, the seniors first saw a giant swing, surrounded by multi-colored flowers, and they remembered their first class party, Swing into Spring. A wishing well, castles, and a glittering star hanging from the ceiling brought back happy memories of When You Wish Upon a Star, while -an Eiffel Tower, recalled An Evening in Paris, the junior prom. Reluctantly, the seniors tumed towards the last wall, where they saw graduation caps and diplomas. All their wonderful memories became part of the past again, and the Class of Sixty began to look ahead to a bright future. Most high school students, at one time or another, seem to be floating around on a pink cloud. This was especially true for the Tolleston Iuniors on the date of their class party. A ceiling of two huge pink clouds, made of crepe paper and angel hair, and a glittering 61, held up by two blackbirds, carried out the theme, On Cloud 6l. Thinking of the day when they will proudly be able to wear their class rings, the school spirited sophomores chose Sunburst in Spring' as a theme for their class party. They danced the evening away beneath a web of blue and white crepe paper. Numerous Tolly school emblems and large 62's decorated the gym walls and hung from the ceiling, further reminding them of the day when they will be upperclassmen.
