Members of the P-T.f-X. are ready to begin one of their monthly meetings. The Parent-Teachers' Association, common- ly called the P.-TA., is one of the maior helps to our school. It provides the co-operation between school and community that is neces- sary to inform the parents of school problems and activities. This group of parents and teachers meet on the second Wednesday of the month to discuss problems connected with the parents, faculty, and students. DAD'S CLUB CONTRIBUTE ff The Dad's Club officers pictured from left to right are Ernest Richey, Secretary, George Lehocky, President, and Ralph Bennett, Treasurer. A124 7 A The n'.erry.go-round is a big attraction to these freshman girls, This year as before, the Blue Raiders' Dads' Club came to the aid of our sports department and supported them throughout the year. The club, composed of fathers of boys active in sports and headed by George Lehoclry, Louis Callaway, Ralph Bennett, and Ernest Richey, spon- sored fund raising proiects and donated the money to the different sports groups, This season money was donated to Coach Kay and the football team, to Coach Vance and the basketball team, to the cheerleaders, also to the R. O. T. C. for medals. The Dads' Club also sponsored the Horace Mann vs. Tolleston football game on Dads' Night and contributed to the AII'Sports Banquet in May. The carnival, sponsored annually by the Dads' Club, was co-sponsored annually by the P-TA., in return for all the help contributed, the pro- ceeds were divided between both organizations hui., P.iri-iils qi-I tug:-ther and enjoy refreshments alter thc Dad's Cliilt game.
