J Senior Crowned It looks liko a few minutes of relaxation for our band. Tension filled the air as one by one the candidates for Homecoming Queen, Cinda Atchison. Senior; Berna Engle, Sophomore; Pat Novicki, Senior; and Christine George, Freshman, walked to the center of the field. As the announcement came, a hush fell over the field. Cinda Atchison was crowned queen and received her crown of white mums and a bou- quet of red roses. She had won her crown by a popu- larity vote instead of having to sell tickets as candid- ates in the past were required to do. While the band broke in with Let Me Call You Sweetheart, every- one realized that this was the perfect beginning to a ball game. Queen Candidatos: Frosh., C. George: Sr.. C. Atchison; Soph.. B. Engle and Sr.. P. Novicki.
