I Secretarial c7, orce f SECRETARIAL FORCE This year's secretarial force is com- posed of five competent, ambitious, and hardworking girls who spend tedious hours solving the various clerical pro- blems. Their cheery smiles and friendly dispositions put the students at ease when they enter the school's office. The high school office operated ef- fectively by Mrs. Dorothv Gaski. Mrs. Joan Rogola, and Miss Maxine Fields. The qrade school office staff is Miss Arlene Christy and Miss Dolores Slys. The supervisor of the medical de- partment. Mrs. Gladys McCrosky tends to the health services of the school. Tolleston's welfare director. Mrs. Ida Magioudis. regulates the various problems concerning truancy and takes care of students who voluntarily leave the school grounds or stay home with- out permission. Ass l Principa BOARD OF EDUCATION The Gary Public Schools under the Board of Education strives to foster democratic practices of all the schools. The Board consists of a group of highly selected men of outstanding character and ability, who determine the policies of the various schools. This year's officers are: Charles F. Daugherty, Pres.; Rev. J. Allen. V-Pres.; Joseph F. Luckey, Sec.; and John W. Davies. Treas. The Superintendent of the Gary Public Schools is Charles D. Lutz. Included in his staff are Ass't Superintendent. Dana Whitmen and Ralph Miller. In charge of further establishing the policies of the School Board here at Tolleston are J. W.
