Advisory Council The Advisory Council, which has a membership of thirty-one Tolleston mem- bers, met on the third Monday of every month. At these meetings, the council discussed ways and means of contrib- uting worthwhile services to the school. In addition to their annual service of buying a gift for each graduating senior, they helped sponsor delegates to Girl’s State and Boy’s State. Also, during the year the council spon- sored a bingo party and took a tour through Standard Oil Company in Vhiting. Band Boosters Band Boosters, which was organized in 1932, has come a long way in its task of building a bigger and better band. Through their tedious efforts of rais- ing money by means of sponsoring cake walks, raffles, and magazine drives, the band has been able to purchase much needed equipment. This year the boosters launched an- other fund raising drive. Through these efforts the boosters have again shown their unfailing loyalty towards the band.
