The Parent-Teacher Association of Tolleston School strove to meet the goal which they reached last year. Of the eighty-five schools in this region, Toll- eston was one of four to receive the Gold Scroll. This is the highest award offered for fulfilling the program outlin- ed by the National Office of P. T. A. This year, the Room Mother Plan was followed and found to be very success- ful, Under this plan, a mother in each room is selected to serve as head room mother. She selects a committee of mothers to assist in the various projects of the P. T. A. Band Boosters Band Boosters, which was organized in 1932, has come a long way in its task of building a bigger and better band. Through their tedious efforts of rais- ing money by means of sponsoring cake walks, raffles, and magazine drives, the band has been able to purchase much needed equipment. This year the boosters launched an- other fund raising drive. Through these efforts the boosters have again shown their unfailing loyalty towards the band.
