Mr. Rosales feels that Tolleson is, Innovative and reaI. He has been teaching here for three years. FACULTY Mr. John A. Nugent has a BA. He attended Queen's University in Belfast and ASU. He sponsors the Drama Club and coaches football and soccer. He's been teaching at Tolleson for seven years. Mr. Nugent stated that Tolleson was Incredible Mr. John Pfau attended Bemidji State College in Minnesota and ASU. He has a BS in English and an MA in Journalism Ed. He's been teaching at Tolleson for eight years. Mr. Pfau stated, When I came here there were only two buildings and 37 stu- dents. Now look at it. 172 Mr. Larry Odle attended Phoenix College, ASU, U ofA and NAU. He holds a BA. He's been teaching at Tolleson for 14 years. Mr. Odle stated, ln my opinion, all the changes during the past five years have been for the good. f YI ,- ,J ax., Diane Philips attended Universi- ty of Arizona and received her BA and MA there. Ms. Carmen Palacio-Lasure has a BA and MA. She attended A.S.U. and U ofA. She has taught for six years at Tolleson. Ms. Pa- lacio said, I feel there are many good things to come because of the growth of TUHS. Mr. Dan Roberson attended Grossmont Jr. College in San Diego and NAU. He has a BS +4O. He coaches Varsity basket- balland hasbeenteachingatTol- leson for 10 years. Mr. Roberson stated, Tremendous growth pattern. Top Parsons says, Students seem more interested in educa- tion this year than last year. He has attended L.A. Community College, University of Maryland and Glendale Community Col- lege, and has been teaching here for two years. Top also directs the male drill team. 1 Mrs. Jackie Roberts attended' Grand Canyon College, Northern Arizona University and Arizona State University. She has Bache- lor's of Science degree and a Master of Arts degree. She spon- sors the Freshman Class. She's been teaching at Tolleson for ten years.

Her degree is a BA. She has been teaching for four years. 174 Nancy Sharpe has attended ASU and NAU. She sponsored FBLA and has been here four years. Any school that has added so much in the way of new facilities has to be concerned with the successful education of its stu- dents. l enjoy the activities. Mr. W.D. Sullivan has attended Stanford University and ASU. He holds a BA and MA. This has been his 19th year teaching. Mr. Thurman Simmons has at- tended New Mexlco Highlands University. He holds a BA and MA. He is Head Coach of the Var- sity Football team. This has been his fifth year teaching at TUHS. emma, A MICH ' Sllilunus i Bonnie R. Thompson holds a MA and an EED from ASU. Her ninth year here, she states: Tolleson was once a small rural school: to- day it is a fast growing suburban high school. l've seen the faculty quality improve, and the admin- istration become one of the state's best.
