During the year they learned the nuts and bolts of media production. After writing scripts, they made several video tape productions including: a news castg The Dating Gameg Tolleson Bandstandg commercials and talk shows. ln the latter category, Chris Devine did an extremely fun- ny interview on her show Spotlight Tonight with Dona Guadalupe on how to make chicano chick- en for supper. Mary Ann Galindo played Guada- lupe. CHEERLEADERS l SPIRIT PEPS-UP SPORTS THE VARSITY CHEERLEADING SQUAD had an exciting year adding spirit to the football and basketball games. Members were: Bottom Jackie Beachum, Kim Landis, Lisa Limb, Shea Pritchard, Dena Smith, Jackie Christenson, Michele Wible, Maria Rabjohn, Alva Martinez, Hilda Hasset, Susie Sullinger, Teri Garcia, and Tammy Byler. Highlights were the annual Pow- der Puff game played against the Mat Maids, with the football players acting as cheerleaders, and the many games and assemblies. '-A. THE MASCOT, Jackie Christenson, a senior humors the crowd at the Sports Assem bly, Dena Smith and Jennifer Willow, seniors watch the Friday night football game against Sunnyslope.
