Flagline Rated Superior Going with the Wolverine Band to ASU Band Day, the Flagline received two excel- lent grades and one superi- or. They put in an excellent performance during ASU's Sun Devil football half time, and performed in California. lVluch credit is due to this group of girls that worked so hard and did so much to make our Flagline one of the best! SHOWING THEIR PRIDE, the Flag- line marches on the field during halftime. The 1982 Homecoming Parade was made more beautiful by the girls marching in step. '-' POIVI 81 FLAGLINE The Pom Line brought home the spirit stick from camp and all the girls received superior ratings on their camp routines. To attain their goal of 5500.00 for summer pom camp, the girls sold home-made tamales and burritos. They per- formed at ASU, parades, and tra- veled with the Wolverine Band to California. They wanted to express their appreciation to their new sponsor, lVls. Garcia. The Pom Line consisted of three returning poms and five new poms. The 1982-83 captain's squad. Electric IVledia A DYNAMIC OPPORTUNITY The Electric Media Class, under the direction of Mr. John Pfau, was a great opportunity for talent- ed students. During the year they learned the nuts and bolts of media production. After writing scripts, they made several video tape productions including: a news castg The Dating Gameg Tolleson Bandstandg commercials and talk shows. ln the latter category, Chris Devine did an extremely fun- ny interview on her show Spotlight Tonight with Dona Guadalupe on how to make chicano chick- en for supper. Mary Ann Galindo played Guada- lupe.
