YEARBOOK SPDNSORS CONVENTION On October 9, 1982, the yearbook staff sponsored the annual AIPA Convention for journalism students. lt had the largest attendance ever, over 500 students from all over the state of Arizona. It was held at Central Arizona College. When asking Bob Keller, layout editor, how much time goes into the yearbook, he said, Countless, He added, I work on it because l want a good yearbook. Many students give up their lunch hour and stay after school to work on the annual. 'Shins Murphy's Law' ',.. if anything can go wrong . . . is always a challenge to beat. Mr. Jackson congratulates Rick Parisi on beating Murphy's Law with his good nature, never giving up, per- sisting, repeating etc. After eight times he finally pulled it off. Most students give up after the first try, but not Rick! He kept at it until he finally got all three classes together with the pho- tographer.
