SERENDIPITY THE COMPANY WITHIN MODEL OFFICE l'm sure you have heard of the nor- mal routine business classes offered here at Tolleson, typing, shorthand, ac- counting and business machines. But have you heard of Model Office? Model office is a class which constructively puts all and more of these classes into practical use. This class is set up like a company, and run by the students to gain knowledge of office procedures. This class is taught by Mrs. Roberts who also serves as President of the company, Serendipity. The class is two hours long, and is offered first and sec- ond, and third and fourth hours. The company consists of three major departments, the sales department, shipping department and the account- ing department. In addition to these three departments, there is also a re- ceptionist, secretary and office man- ager. To supplement this company, there is also a bank and utilities setup.
