PRIDE INDUSTRIAL ARTS ABOVE AVERAGE Students Learn Trades, Develop Talents The industrial arts program did better than ever, with over 507: of the students being enrolled. The North Central Evaluating committee stated that the Occupation Versatility program was very effective and suited the needs of the students. TUHS also had the largest industrial arts complex in the entire state, with the cost of the complex totaling over S1,000,000. Outstanding metal student Butch Goff exercises his two years of experience by adjusting a milling machine. Eddie Garcia, and outstanding drafting student, works on his layout while drafting student Mike Murray and Mike Hall add their opinion. PRIDE .. FBLA on Television Donates 553600 to Muscular Dystrophy! SIC Paints Town! The number of clubs that Serve on campus are many, featured here are a few of the best: Future Business Leaders of Ame- rica is one of the most active clubs giving service. Having attended an MDA Youth Leadership Conference, five members learned unique ways to raise money. Six students went to KPHO, channel five, at six a.m. and donated their earnings to charity. Af- ter the day was over, James Hawley said he felt a warm feeling of hav- ing done something good. Other members attending were Dana Cloud, Dawne Turnage, Sylvia Ortega, Paul- ette St. Armour, Eileen Black and the sponsor, Mrs. Nancy Sharpe. 8 CL-LJ BS SERVE PROUDLY ? --J' 'Ls X ww-f The National Honor Society has the answer for anybody needing tutoring.
