The T Club initiation commando basketball game proved to be inter- esting although rough. Tri-Hi-Y and FHA girls battle for the ball during the Powder Puff basketball game. 76 unidentified townspeople attempt to stop him. Here Burke Whitfield exhibits his torn shoe which had been new when the game started. Pam Leonard and Sherry Shelton were the Tri-Hi-Y official bench-warmers and sweepers.

The decorations consisted of tumbleweeds sprayed with silver paint to represent snowmen, Christmas trees, and white pillars. The king and queen, Donny Johnson and Linda Watkins, were presented with crowns of red velvet, trimmed in gold glitter. The March-of-Dimes Valentine Dance was held on the patio with Disc-jockey Cary Seger on hand as master of cere- monies.
