was Meet Me in St. Louis was the title of this year's Senior Class play. This warm family comedy in- volved an amusing and entertaining adventure which comes about when the head of the Smith family, Mr. Smith, receives word that he is to be transferred to New York. The younger members of the family set out to arrange for their family to remain in St. Louis be- cause of the coming of the World's Fair and because of the great change involved in moving. Members of the cast are: Don Green, Mr. Smith, Harry Hall, Long Rose, Jeanne Leisterg Linda Gris- sam, Ester, Annette Popoff, Agnes, Barbara Green- myer, Toolieg Robert Underdown, Grandpa, Kathy Kruse, Katie, Betty Alcocer, Mrs. Voughoyg Lee Frederick, Indag Niamet Khan. John: Jim Mortensen. Fredg Judy Miller, Lucille, Jim Smiley, Mr. Dodge: and Don Tompson, Mr. Duffy. The play was adapted from a book by Sally Denson. Jwpiw' Jupffw Gets Laughs Three Broadway hopefuls who share an apartment in New York get mixed up in a kidnapping in the Junior Class play, iflumpin, ,lupiterfi As they are about to be thrown out of their apartment because they canit pay the rent, they accidentally get hold of 350,000 in ransom money, and their efforts to get rid of it lead to one hilarious situation after another. The kid- napped girl is finally returned safely, and our three young actresses get the reward money and a happy ending is had by all. The cast was lead by Judy Tackett, Abby, Betty Coffman, Dot, David Hud- son, Bob, Robert Laverton, Oscar. Others in the cast were Susie Whyman, Pat, Sherry Shelton, Gilda, Pam Leonard, Min- nie, Cary Hintz, messengerboy, Kenneth Szymanski, policeman, lleen Lair, Mollie, Kathv Beasley, Irene, Robert Cooley, Ben. wa., r

This award is spon- sored by the Daughters of the American Revolution. Besides citizenship, qualifications are leadership and dependability. The candidates are all nominated by the Senior Class. The BETTY CROCKER AWARD is given an- nually to the senior girl displaying the greatest knowledge of homemaking. Sponsored by General Mills, the contest offers the winner a chance to vie for college scholarships. This year, as every year, the BAUSCH LOMB AWARD is given to the senior who has made out- standing achievements in the field of science. Mr. Leslie Hendrix takes into consideration the students, past physics and chemistry records before selecting the student whose qualifications are best.
