WE t 0 + ®+ £+ £ ®++®Z +: : ' % ft tf n® V o .1 MRS. DORIS TOBIASSEN The Class of 1975 dedicates this issue of Eyrie to Mrs. Doris Tobiassen, a teacher whose nineteen years of service in Tolland schools have earned her the respect and appreciation of several generations of young people. Countless English classes and the National Honor Society have all felt the touch of her devoted hand. To the many rewards and satisfactions she has received in the past, we would like to add, Thank you, Mrs. Tobiassen, for a job well done. The words of Henry Van Dyke depict for all of us the portrait of a teacher that Mrs. Tobiassen leaves with us. This is my work; my blessing, not my doom; Of all who live, I am the one by whom This work can best be done in the right way. Henry Van Dyke

The time has come for us to go. In peace we bid you good-bye. The many sunny days we have lived here iriLk ng be remembered by us. We will think of you, as you think of us. Should you come to see us, we will divide our love among you, and you will be most welcomed, for we have learned to think not only with our heads, but with our hearts as well. And so we leave: We only pass this way once. X 0° } i To a QJ)£ f X SL + Jexh Levi Pet yy

DEDICATE. . . How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. I love thee to the depth and breadth and height My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight For the ends of Being and ideal Grace. I love thee to the level of everyday ' s. Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light. I love thee freely, as men strive for Right; I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise. I love thee with the passion put to use In my old griefs, and with my childhood ' s faith. I love thee with a love I seemed to lose With my lost saints, — I love thee with the breath, Smiles, tears, of all my life! — and, if God choose, I shall but love thee better after death.
