'Him -ms- Miss Edna E. Sharritt Director of Nursing Education and Service Following her graduation from the Grant Hospital School of Nursing in Columbus, Ohio, M iss Edna S harritt went on to Columbia Univer- sity where she obtained her Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees. In 1939 she came to Toledo Hospital to fill the position of Assistant Director of Nursing. This was soon interrupted by military duty, where she served as Chief Nurse of the Cadet Nurse Program at Fletcher Hospital and later as Chief Nurse of the 238th General Hospital Division. For the past 15 years, Miss Sharritt has engaged in the activities of the Toledo Hospital School of Nursing, through her position as the Director of Nursing Education and Nursing Service. 6

J a NY 2, . ,. - f f . xv X Miss Beulah Klingler Associate Director of Nursing Education Miss Beulah Klingler has been associated with Toledo Hospital School of Nursing since 1950, as Clinical Instructor in surgical nursing, and as Associate Director of the school since 1951. Prior to that time she worked as assistant head nurse and instructor in delivery room at Lima Memorial Hospital, interrupting the sequence by a year in the Army Nurse Corps during World War H. She took her basic nursing at Lima Memorial Hospital, and received her B.S. degree in Nursing Education at Western Reserve University. Among her professional activities has been six years advisorship to Student Nurse Association of Ohio and ten years to Toledo Student Nurse Association. 7
