Preporotion begon eorly in the month ond climoxed on the twenty-eighth when porents ond friends entered Croxton ouditorium - o world of clowns, bolloons, ond coromel opples. The probies, intermediotes, ond seniors eoch hod five or six booths with prizes for extin- guishing the condles, breoking the bolloons, or knocking over the bowling pins. The Expresso Cofe served to entertciin our bedt- nik friends ond the tunnel roised the hoir on even the colmest neck. The Foculty pre- sided over the bingo ond the Mothers Club conducted the bokesole. A goy Holloween Dcince followed with much fun for oll. A profit of opproximotely S600 vvos mode for the convention fund. This fund is used to send delegotes to Stote ond Notionol con- vention. Chapel Every Tuesday evening the student body gathered tor a Spreading inspiration 48 brief time to worship and sing. The music ot the organ fill- ing the gymnasium created a special atmosphere for our chapel services. A new element was added to our services this year, the planning was done entirely by the students. Frequently guest ministers were asked to speak, also inspir- ational messages were given by student speakers. The chapel committee spent a busy and tull year planning our services, using many new ideas. Chapel services have been more inspiring to the student since they have put torth their own ettort in preparation ot our worship services.
