Football FRANCIS BR USCO Coach ,fs FOOTBALL The lndrans fmrshed the grrd xron season wrth an envrable record of 8 wxns and 1 loss They scored a total of 189 pornts to then opponent s C5 On September If the Lewis County Jamboree was held at Toledo There the mlghty lndxans trxpped Onalaska 12 0 On September 23 the lndxans journeyed to Mossyrock for thexr only defeat of the season The Indlans played good ball but came out on the losing end 14 7 Then on September 30 Wlnlock came to the Indran s field That 1S when the tomahawk hrt the hardest When the game was over the Redbrrds felt mighty blue Cblack and bluej The Indians massacred the Cardl nals 43 7 That rs a record for the worst defeat Wxnlock has ever had On October 7 the Onalaska Loggers came to the Indran s f1e1d for thexr second defeat The Indians trampled the Loggers 20 0 On October 14 the lndrans went to State School and defeated them 39-C On October 21 the Indrans agam loaded mto busses and journeyed to Randle When the fxnal gun sounded the lndrans were ahead 21 13 On October 28 the Pe E11 Troyans came to the Indxan s freld They too were left rn the dust by the lndxans for a score of 20 7 Then on November 4 the Morton Huskres yourneyed to the Indran s field Thns was the game of the sea son Whoever won thrs vrtally rmportant game would be co champxons wrth Mossyrock Over 2 000 fans were there to wxtness the Indxan s vrctory The mlghty Indrans barely edged the Morton Huskxes 14 12 Then came November 11 the Armxstxce Day game with the Wmlock Cardmals Even with a muddy freld the Indrans ran over the Cardmals 13 5 Thls game also made the Indrans mythical champrons Mossyrock the same day got beaten by Onalaska In league standrngs the lndxans frnxshed a fme season by tymg Mossy rock for the Co Chanpronshxp of Lewts County gf L...
