Omfar Freshmen C lass Hlstory 6 On September 4 1945 th1rty Glght mexpenenced and green Freshles first clxmbed the stalrs of T C H S Rooms were strange to us and We dldn t know when or where we were supposed to 0 to some new and unknown class Our 1n1t1at1on occurred on September 14th and we were somewhat dlsappolnt ed to flnd that we rec 1ved rather mxld treatment Under the gu1dance of Mrs Kelly our class sponsor the followmg class offx cers were elected Ada Grlssom Presxdent Patty Sherman V1ce Presldent Rob ert Layton Secretary Oma Ellen Oakley Treasurer We are ploud of Ada Grlssom who was elected as a cheerleader We are well represented 1n G A A Chorus Band Reflector Staff and we also have some very promlsmg basketball players Unfortunately we have lost three of our orxgmal class members but one of the1r absences has been fllled by Pat Meyer who came from Decatur To the Senlors we w1sh the best of luck and lots of success 7946 1 o j ' - - - as vw ' a f . .
