GOLF FIVE... FOUR... THREE... TWO... ONE... FIRE I With ar1 ear shattering roar, another RECULUS streaks toward the target, leaving behind only the telltale cloud of dense white smoke from her jatos. TOLEDO has again demonstrated her ability to launch the Navy's newest weapon, the guided missile. In December, 1955, the G Division was formed in TOLEDO. No longer is the hanger used for the stowage of boats, line, and other miscellaneous gear. lnstead, it now serves as the workshop for the missilemen. At the entrance to the area you are greeted by a marine, who will allow only those who have a pass to inter. lnside you will find not only GS rates but also GM, BM, and ET rates. The total complement is live otlicers and 20 enlisted men. Each has his own special part in the operation. Carefully, each one sets about his task in the preparation and checkout of the bird.
