From the time a man reports for duty his everyday life is centered around this division. His records must he kept up to date, his advancement in rate recorded, his longevity credited at the proper time. And there comes a time in every man's Navy career that shore duty will he foremost in his mind. All these things go through the Personnel Office. When you pick up the SEABLADE, or as you wander down the passageway to chow and pick up the Press News, this means that someone in the Print Shop printed hoth. All correspondence going from or coming to TOLEDO must go through the Captain's Oflice. Every man must take out a progress course in order to advance in rate. Many men want to further educate themselves through USAFL This is handled hy the Training OH1ice. Every man likes to read and TOLEDO has one of the most well-equipped libraries in the Fleet. Men also need spiritual guidance, so the Chaplainls Office comes into view. The Legal Oflicer takes care of legal matters, of course, and acts as our personal lawyer whenever the need arises.
