Team anti ipates tough competihon Not having any seniors was one of the biggest assets of the golf team, according to Steve Hubbard, head coach. Every- one will be back, said Coach Hubbard The team expected to finish third in the league, and that is not being pessimistic, we have some tough competition, said Coach Hubbard. Lodi and Lin- coln high schools were the main competition. Tokay's only major weakness was the inexperience of the team. According to Coach Hubbard, the new golfers were at a disad- had been a top player since his freshman year, was the No. l player on the team. Standing out at No. 2 was sophomore Tim Breland. The rest of the team had about the same ability ac- cording to coach Hubbard. Although the team practiced together only four days a week, the team members practiced more on their own. Junior John Daniels practiced seven days a week.
