PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE The Senior or Graduating Class is always of greater concern to me than any other class in our school. Why? This class places our school, community and me on trial without an opportunity for appeal. A tree many times is judged by the fruit it bears. A school is judged by its end products, those who graduate. I cannot emphasize too strongly how important it is for each of you to remember as you leave Todd-Grant School that you represent our product. It may be well to seriously consider that you also represent the kind of home from which you came and the kind of church you attended. Since the home, the school, and the church represent those basic institutions that are so impor- tant in our lives, the thoughtful graduate strives to always hold his good name, above reproach. You are facing an ever-changing society. Some of these changes may be good, some may not, but I hope that each of you will make the necessary adjustment to face whatever changes that may come with courage, faith and understanding. I urge you to avail yourselves of every opportunity to give service and never to expect some- thing for nothing. I hope that your experience here at Todd-Grant have been influencing factors in pointing you to a good life. c ft C. A. DeVillars, Principal 6
