Principal PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE I wish to congratulate you, the sponsor and the class of 196 for the very fine contribution you have made to our school program this year in publishing this annual. As you leave this place, whether you go to a higher institution of learning or to work, I ask of you to develop for yourself, an educational philosophy. This will aid you in determining what is worth doing and will chart your general direction in the search for truth. No individual can serve either himself or others without knowledge, information and skills; they are the essential tools of good citizenship. In a world torn apart by strife and misunderstanding, I ask of you to get the facts and think before you act, in any direction. The ability to think depends, not upon ignoring facts, but upon possessing and using them, without facts and the ability to face them, we cannot hope to adequately solve conflicts that may arise. Our efforts here at Todd-Grant have been directed toward helping you to become a servicable, sociable, understandable individual. How well we have succeeded will exemplify itself in the type of life you live after you leave here.
