Therefore, the Senior Class of 1954 ex- presses its heartfelt thanks and sincere appre- ciation to Mr. J. L. Grant, who had the fore- sight to establish a high school in Darien; to Mr. C. A. DeVillars, who has, since his principal ship, elevated the school from a six-teacher school to a seventeen-teacher school, and who has been instrumental in the faci- litation of transport- ation for pupils all over the county; and to Mrs. L. G. Reid, who has been an ui tiring and enthusi- astic advisor for the Class of’54.
