As apart of Mrs, Florence Weiss' job as the guidance counselor of Tivy, she helps students choose the colleges or universities they might want to attend after grad- uation. Here she shows two high school girls some literature which has beendistributed by institutions of higher learning, J Among Mr. John Sandidge's con- tributions to Tivy High School is his invention of a program board usedintheplanningof classes, He has much responsibility as prin- cipal helping in Tivy's problems and activities, Through his guid- ance and civic contributions, Tivy has always come out on top.

Mr. E, L. Wildman, superintendent of Kerrville Public Schools, studies plans for construction of one of the numerous school buildings. Through the windows in the background can be seen the new elementary school building being erected. During his six years of leadership, the schools have shown steady improvement. Mr. Wildman's goal is to improve Tivy both spiritually and constructively. His close student and teacher relationship has made ' tact. a place in the hearts of all the people with whom he comes 1n con The Antler Staff feels that Tivy can only succeed with a leader such as Mr. Wildman. 9

'Q The teachers' insurance policy was the topic of discussion as Mrs . Mary Hirth, secretary, Mrs. Margaret Franke, school nurse, Miss Ruby Alderman, speech correctionist, Mrs., Florence Mills, librarian, and Mrs. Nell Swayze, dietitian, enjoy a cup of coffee. These teachers are an essential part of our school and help to keep it running smoothly. 11
