The Students Against Sub- stance Abuse Committee (SASA) has sponsored many activities this past year with the hope of informing not only students and faculty, but the whole community on the dangers of alcohol and substance abuse. Tiger Tales is a column written by Sherri Viveiros, Mary Ellen Gendreau, and Carolyn St. Michel which is featured in the Sakonnet Times weekly. This informs the community on the school activi- ties occuring throughout the year. The sound of a PA member can be heard at 7:40 AM when home- room begins. The primary job of this club is to wake up the school by reciting the pledge and morn- ing announcements. SASA PA CLUB SASA TIGER TALES 29
