CLASS WILL We, the Senior Class of Colestock High School, in the year of our Lord one thousand nineteen hundred forty-three, of the City of Titusville, township of Oil Creek, county of Crawford, state of Pennsylvania, in these United States of America, being of sound mind, yet realizing that old age is rapidly overtaking us, do hereby make this our last will and testament, making all previous ones drawn up by us null and void. PROVISION 1: To the Juniors we leave the privilege of sitting, down front rn assemblies four copies of Superman and the rrglrt to act rmportant which rs an honor attained only by Seniors PROVISION II For the Sophomores we establish a trust fund consisting of Latin translations assorted notebooks laboratory records and book reports for all occasions rn the hope that their progress through high school will be as rapid as ours PROVISION III To the Freshmen we bequeath a map of Colestock High School to keep them from getting lost and our drrectrons on how to stop the elevator on the second floor PROVIS ON IV To Mr Brtters we the Senior Class leave a brand new bottle of aspirin to soothe hrs troubled nerves after the many headaches the pre ent So rhomore Class has caused him We hope that he will be able to turn out as mar y fine upright young men and women from this group as he has from the Class of 43 Certain members of the class being so gifted that they wish to share part of their talents wrtlr the underclassmen do b q reath as individuals the followrne sard possessions I Paul Benjamin Ferr Jr being of sound mind and superior rntelli ence do wish to leave the faculty part of my knowledge on how to run classes I Skinny IT11l being of wonderful physical and athletic ability do hereby' will and bequeath one well worn seat on the bench to my running mate Pretty Boy Conway I Beverly Shepard leave to Bessie Lowros Cwho lives across the street from Colestock? all the coats which I never had to wear to school We Charlotte Averill and Mary Eckstrom leave our uncanny ability to go into detail when answering a question to any up and coming student who feels he needs tlns ability to bluff hrs way throueh I Leon Sopher leave Charlotte Crrsman for as short a time as possible with the intention of preparing myself for wedding bells and a lrttle cottage built for two I Carma Gallaher leave my ever wonderful bottle of p roxrde to Punch Waddrnglrarn rn the hopes that she too will some day be able to attain those golden locks so much envied by all brunettes To Hughre Connell I Wester Wrgren leave my repertoire of harmonious chords rn the hope that he will some day meet my standards as a second Paderewsl r I Kay I urach bequeath my gymnastic ability to all of Mrs Daniels ttlre former Miss Ruth Gherrng sr little Bloomer Grrls I Allen Jones leave behind me my secret formula for H2 S trotten egg gas? to any pupil who desires to attempt to better my record for clearing the clrerrrstry lab of students rn one minute 32 seconds lthrs time reckoned from the beginning of the generation of gas?
