FRANCIS PA R SON was transferred t another camp and ROBIQT KILEY came at the O8glDDiDg of the year and then left us later on Along wlth our new rank we also recelved a new general of the Army, t 13 belna General Metcalf, also a new Major Gene al who was Major General VanZanibercen and three new BPldP iler Generals, these were Spindler, Guse, and Conner, 1th Brlivad er Ceneral Allen remainlng with us fr m the previeus year us, this was quite a year We had the privllage of inltiatinv the lower offlcers CFreshmenJ Wothinm much happened this year and we went through our tralninv with no m'shaps, except for Lieut DELORhS RANZEN, who receivei a brocen nose We really welcomed our furlouvh this time and when we came back we were glad to receive the ratin as Captaxn It gave us a little more authority Major General Castor, soon shoved us that it didn't9999 The Bridgadier Generals who also h lped enforce the laws of the army were Mehlan, Gard Harrls, and Callies who was later replaced by Greb W also rec lved two new Captalns who were ZELNA WILSCN and BERT RCSKANP MAX CARR was tr nsferr ed to another camp This year went along as smoothly as could be expected After another furlough was vranted we came back to wood old Camp Titonka for our last year in the army After oeinv in the army for ll years we knew we would miss it when we finally did receive our discharges Just think, in our last year we dld receive the ratln of Major Ne received the same officers as we had the prevlous year, except Schenk took Gard's positlon at the last part of the year Some f s took too mxch for granted being Mayors, and were seen quite frequently in Major General Castor's of fice W also received new buddy this beinv EMMA GaNE SCHMIDT The year went fast, and flnally the great day came when we recelved a dlsoharve We Seniors wish to thank all of our te chers who h lped us all the way through school We really did enjoy it an none of us will ever forget it All of us Senxors, we hope, will become a success in some way or another and we owe it to the teachers who were patient with us and who helped ug through school , f-I' ' - O 1 ' .
