The study of history is the study of what men have done in the past; hence, of how they created the present. Through the study of his- tory each man can share the experiences of all who have lived before and learn from them. Speech class is designed to help the student gain self-confidence when called upon to speak in public by making speeches and demonstrations in front of their classmates. i 103.
