Xvi , . . . . . crowded halls and the after-school-rush on our own home on the range where students chow down on homemade vittles and oooh and aaah over expensive Junior rings. It all happens, here in the West. . . Once Upon a Time. o© HWfi 5 8 uw tyox 'm c Even though we are very unique and different in our own special way we share many pastimes, habits and hobbies. We are affected by the changes our world is going through such as rising energy costs which put a damper on our Saturday Night Fever. Homework has always been around and always will be. The teachers always assign homework on days when you have something else to do. Im- portant things like band practice, seeing a movie or the all important pastime of watching T.V. Then there is always the unfor- getable pastime of sweethearts. This event flourishes throughout the year and when the love bug bites you nothing else seems to matter. Let the teacher assign homework, you'll dream right through it. Things will come and go and things will change. During our gen- eration we will live our time and make or not make the most of every moment. Then, when we look back on our school years, even though we may be miles apart, our memories will stay together. n in itijlc witlj fnd French braids, shirt sayings, blue jeans, high heeled shoes, ankle socks, hang ten, and fancy hats, all belong to a never ending list of fads that seem to pop up continuously. People soon tire of them and toss them aside. With the good of intro- ducing the new, fads are continuously being replaced by others. Because they come and go so quickly, they be- come virtually forgotten, until maybe the next generation. 1) Dee Keel and Steve Harris escorting Seniors at graduation. 2) FHA salad for Mom's and daughters. 3) Students D I G archeology. 4) Jimme Sweat conducting a STUCO As- sembly. 5) Disco Fever, Fog, and the Theme, This Night Won't Last Forever 6) Excitement over new yearbooks. 7) Anxiety over tryouts for cheerleader. 8) ffystro , Bob Stoddard conducting a best ever Spring Concert. 15 I v m anu t ou nt 6 o Robert Pearson High School Principal Wayne Canaday Middle School Principal Don Martin Grade School Principal S.
