Jforefoord Tishomingo High School is many things. It’s the students, the faculty, the buildings, the spirit of working together. It’s the anticipation of the “Big Game”, the rivalry of who will be Queen. It’s assemblies and classes and the rush in the halls, getting to class on time when your locker is stuck. It’s working in the shops or learning to be a Homemaker. It’s Red and White and The Indians; it’s pride in our band, our new library, science lab, and our new football stadium. It’s the rush to the Dairy Queen’s and Cafeteria at noon, the Band Contests, homecoming activities, student council elections, the From. It’s giving oral reports, writing term pa- pers. craming for finals, panic at report card time, striving for Scholarships. All these and more make the “big picture” at Tishomingo High. But the thing that makes it great is GROWTH.

Everyone respects you and looks to you for advice and help. You are never too busy to stop and talk with a student or to help the school in any way you can. In appreciation for such devoted service, the yearbook staff proudly dedicates the 1968 INDIAN to you, Mr. Gerald Utley. Indicate to Ulou « As Principal, Mr. Utley has an unmentionable number of du- ties to assume. Although this takes most of his time, he has other duties outside his office. He has done a fine job as coach of our girls’ basketball team, and also sponsoring our Student Council. 4
