Senior Class Prophecy In the year 1978, I Bob Park (now a Forester working back and forth between North and South America) happened to be in Tishomingo while the annual alumni celebra- tion of T.H.S. was being held. Always being busy before, but always wanting to go, 1 took advantage of the situation and attended the celebration. One of the first persons I met from my old class was Danny Lovett, President of the Alumni Committee and also president of a large engineering firm. He told me that Danny Gibson was now a Dentist with his shingle up in Ardmore and was really making money. About that time Danny's wife came up. I knew at once who she was. She was Joyce, at one time Broughton,” but now Lovett. As I walked around I became reacquainted with old classmates. I found out that Lyndall McGlockin, Wendell Graham, and Harvey Elkins had a huge Auto Supply Store and were doing trade all over the world. Frances West and Martha Tate have started their own restaurant and Liz Krebs and Fay Huff had a whole chain of Dairy Lands located all over the world. Larry Wood had taken over Harold Troutman's place on the school faculty and James Lathom, Bob C. Delver's place. Glen McCrow had a large customizing and body shop and Alvin McArthick was foreman of Blue River Ranch. Jenna Jo Hellack was now coach of the Tishomingo Musichaus a world wide popular girls basketball team. Shirley (Rogers) Bynum is modeling in her spare time. She al- ways was pretty. Randell Dunn is still hopping from Madill to Tish. It seems with all his work he just can't get out of Murray. I learned that Opaline Cheadle still giggles but now she gets paid for it. It seems TV can't get along without her. Lynn Johnston has become very well known. He does almost all the photography for schools all around the world. Kerry McKee is now the president of Murray College, and, 1 understand, is doing a great job. Lee Russell owns a ranch. He is making a lot of money, and his wife Verna Benton, I understand, is now a very high society lady. George Ford now has become one of the best veterinarians in the world. He also owns a large ranch. His foreman Floyce Lanier still spends most of his time with his dogs. Ann (Green) Shadle is now half owner of a big drug store, but no one can get her to quit working in the soda jerk department. Nim Pope owns a motor co. and is rolling in money. Phil Johnson is a teacher, no less, at Tishomingo High School. I couldn't find out what he is teaching, but I understand he is the best paid teacher there. Mary Lou Head is a secretary in a big office in Tishomingo and Linda Griffin is her assistant. Randy Key is now a famous coach. The teams he has coached have never lost a game. Frances Harbert has a large family and lives in Oklahoma City. I understand she has traveled all over the world. Anita Carter is now an English teacher. They say she is pretty rough on the kids but she is the best in the business. Bessie Williams is happily mar- ried. She is now a secretary. Roberta Freese has lived all over the world but has now come back to Tish. to live. As I was leaving the City of Tishomingo, Steve Trotter came trotting up, he still has his pretty hair and is still a flirt. I was glad to see him. Well the trip was over and I hated to leave but I had to catch my plane, so I said good bye to my fellow stu- dents of T.H.S. The honor of writing next year's Prophecy goes to Paula Robinson.
