Valedictorian for die 1958 Senior class is Phyllis Ann Bennett, daughter of Mr. Mrs. J. C. Bennett, Jr., Tishomingo. Phyllis has attended Tishomingo schools all her twelve years. During her high school years she has been on the honor roll four years and the State Honor Society three years. She has participated in 4H, FHA, bas- ketball, softball, glee club, girls' trio, student council and band in which she has been the drum majorforthree years. She has also entered the Interscholastic meet at Ada, attended Girls State and is the editor of the Defender and Indian. V a I e d i c t 0 r • i a n S a I u t a t 0 r • 1 a n s Regina Allen, daughter of Mr. Mrs. Charles L. Allen, was named as one of the Salutatorians of the 1958 graduating class. Regina has attended Tishomingo schools three years and has parti- cipated in FHA, 4-H, Student Council, Interscholastic meet, Junior play. She was chosen foot- ball queen, Secretary of the senior class. Pres, of the Student Council, Cheerleader in the Pep Club, and the prettiest senior girl this year. She is also on the Defender and Indian staff. Also chosen as Salutatatorian this year is Nancy Warden, daughter of Mr. Mrs. V. S. Warden. Nancy has attended Tishomingo schools for four years. She has participated in 4-H, FHA, Pep Club, several Speech plays, 4-H Club Roundup, Interscholastic meet, basketball, and softball. She also has been on the honor roll and State Honor Society, and won the History Award last year.

Honor Student Regina Allen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Allen, was chosen as the honor student for 1958. During the three years she has attended Tishomingo school site has been in the Junior and Senior play, art award. Secretary of the Junior and Senior classes, President of the Student Council, football queen this year, and was the Salutatorian of the Senior class. In addition to the other things, Regina has been in pep club three years and was cheerleader this year, best looking senior girl, honor roll four years, State Honor Society two years, F. H. A., 4H, and Interscholastic Meet three years. WHO’S WHO The All-Around boy for this year is Gene La fine, son of Mr. C. C. Erwin. He has attended Tishomingo school for three yean, and has been a very active member of his classes. Gene has played football for three years, and was all-conference this year. He also excelled in track. He is a member of the State Hon- or Society and honor roll. President of the Senior class, Boys’ State, President of the Lettermens' Club, Vice President of the Tri-Hi-Y, and was Vice President of the Junior class last year. A I I Wilma Jean Boyer was chosen by die faculty this year as All-Around Girl. Jean is die daugh- ter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Boyer. She came to Tishomingo atthe beginning oflier senior year. She attended eleven years at Nida. Jean, as she is best known, has been a mem- ber of the basketball and softballteam for four years. During the past four years she lias been in the Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior, and Speech plays.
