Tishomingo County Agricultural High School 21 BOARD Good board may be secured by both boys and girls in the dormitories. For the past session the board has been only 310.111 per month. This is as low as can. be furnished by any of the agricultural high schools of the state. We have a variety of foods we gather from the farm to supplement the groceries. There are the chores that must be done at home, and we have them here. The work in the dining room is done by the pupils under the supervision of the matron. This work helps in keeping down the cost of board. The cooking is done by an expert man cook, assisted by the matron. The board is on the co-operative plan and pupils board at actual cost. 22 Tishomingo County Agricultural High School MUSIC, VOICE AND EXPRESSION The school has secured the services of a combination teacher. This will strengthen our course of study very ma- terially, and will fill a long felt need in our school. With- out music the home and school would miss a very important part of a course of study. Training in oratory and expres- sion is worth a great deal to the pupil. The merchants and Alumni Association are encouraging the work of this de- partment by oiering medals for efficiency and scholarship. A tuition fee of 318.00 a semester of four and a half months will be charged pupils taking either music, expression or voice. No allowance made for late entrance. Tuition pay- able in advance. COMMERCIAL COURSE This work will consist of typewriting and shorthand. Two units will be offered in both typewriting and shorthand. The Work will be standardized and will count on diploma for graduation. A student by beginning in time, may take as many as four units during the four years in high school. A tuition fee of 9518.00 a semester of four and a half months will be charged pupils taking one of the above units. No al- lowance made for late entrance. Tuition payable in advance.
