The basis for this selection is entirely on scholarship. Only the upper ten per cent of the high school student body is el- igible for this honor roll. Tipton has an enrollment of l2l from the ninth to the twelfth grades, so this entitles the school to twelve students on the State Honor Roll. And in doing so compiled one of the most outstanding defensive records in the V P history of high school football in Oklahoma. F 5 Only 12 points were scored on the Tigers the entire Us y C season. ' is t Coach Bennie Kennedy who succeeded Coach - Thompson was selected HCoach of the Yearu in C Class after coaching the Tigers to their first state championship. Assistant Coach Haskell Bilbrey was a great help to Mr. Kennedy. Mr. Bilbrey is also the basket- ball coach.
