The senior trip on October 18 took 80 members of the class to the nation's capital. While there they visited many places in and around the Washington area. First on the tour was Mt. Vernon, George Washington's home which has been fully restored. Other places visited were the Lincoln Memorial, the Bureau of Printing and Engraving, the Jeffer- son Memorial, the Capitol building, Arlington Cemetery and the Ken- nedy Center. The election was brought closer to us when the campaign brought Walter Mondale and Rosalyn Car- ter to Plymouth. Our marching band greeted them on the Demo- cratic Whistle Stop train. 2

Activities March Forward Instead of being quiet and deserted at 3:15, TVHS almost seems busier with all of the many extracurricular activities, practices or competitions taking place. The gym is always in use and most of the time, other groups can be found in the commons or hallways having meetings or practicing. TVHS seems to offer something for everyone in the way of extra- curricular activities. With more girls sports, the sports program is bal- anced and competitive, offering both team and individual sports.
