Finian's Rainbow —The Spring Musical Several weeks of hard work and rehearsal went into this year's spring musical production of ''Fi- nian's Rainbow . The story concerns an Irishman, Finian McLonergan, who brings his daughter, Sharon to America in search of their fortunes. Finian be- lieves that if he plants a crock of gold near Ft. Knox, it will sprout gold and he will become a millionaire. Finian obtained his crock of gold by stealing it from the leprechauns. In turn, a leprechaun named Og comes to America in hopes of re- turning the crock to Ireland since all the leprechauns have lost their magical powers and are becoming human. Finian and Sharon and Og come to Rainbow Valley where they meet the citizens who are trying to save their land from Senator Bill- board Rawkins. Love blooms and the problems deepen until all is re- solved at the expense of the crock of gold and Finian's theory.
