Board of Education Once again we wish to give specialrecognition toour school board for the work that makes our school system possible. These board members have been active throughout the term planning the future of THE TIPP CITY EXEMPTED VILLAGE SCHOOLS whereby they will be of the most benefit to students having an earnest desire to obtain an educa- tion. Employing the teachers and custodians and making up the budget for the school year are only two of the important tasks they perform. Their efforts toward improvement seem untiring. Though they do not receive the thanks they deserve, we want them to know that we realize that they are primarily responsible for making our school days possible. We like to think of the school board when we think of this motto: GOOD SCHOOLS DON'T JUST HAPPEN, The Annual Staff

A Message Another school year is gradually coming to a close. With the end of the year come mem- ories of many pleasant and happy experiences for all of us. We are happy for these thoughts. We also hope that all of us have grown this year. We refer to social, emotional, and in- tellectual growth in this case. We want this not only for our students, but to those ofus who sit on the other side of the desk. We all need to grow. All of us need to liveour lives as a running brook and nota stagnant pool. As you develop this zest for living you will also spread it to others. This is very con- tagious. Congratulations on another good year. MR, R, R. RITCHIE, Principal A i ,..--s A Message Seniors of 1957: Commencement Season is always a happy one. A time to pause momentarily with a sense of achievement and to accept the con- gratulations of parents, friends, and classmates. We, who have had the pleasure of working with and for you, congratulate you too. And, as you turn to face your tomorrow, may you do so with faith and confidence in yourselves and a determination to reach your goal no matter what the odds may be. Good luck and best wishes, MR, L.
