ine Little Indians This year the nine little Indi- ans were really a fired up group. They started out right by winning four superiors and two excellents at N . S . U. cheerleader camp. They showed so much spirit, they were awarded a coveted spirit stick. Out of ninety-two squads, they were chosen in the top ten per cent. Once school started, they were found working hard on spirit signs and gimmicks, skits and pep rallies. In October the cheerleaders helped capture first place in the Alexandria Mall spirit competition. The high- light of the year was their commer- cial for Tioga's new Rapides Bank. st F2

The organization sponsored girls' intramurals through which badges, letters, sweaters, and awards may be won. Majorettes maintained Indian tra- dition by performing at games and pep rallies. The girls worked towards the goal of adding that extra sparkle to halftime activities.
