Seniors Receive Honors At the close of the year, seniors suddenly begin to receive recognition for their many years of work . . . in the school, community , and even for the work they have done to present themselves at their best at all times. Although space does not allow us to picture everyone who is worthy of rec- ognition, these two pages are a tribute to the efforts of the entire senior class of 1975 . . . and also a tribute to some of those who have received major senior honors. OPPOSITE, TOP, LEFT: Sonia Hayes was crowned Queen of the district Key club beauty pag- eant. Sonia competed in evening gown and sportswear, as well as being interviewed by the judges. OPPOSITE, TOP, RIGHT: Kay Ford, salutatorian of the 1975 class, received many awards and honors. They included the History and Mathematics awards, the Rapides Parish Women's P.E. scholarship of 350, and a state board of education scholarship for S4000 to La. Tech. Kay plans to major in P.E. OPPOSITE, BOTTOM, LEFT: Mike Matthews, recipient of Science award and American Legion award. OPPOSITE, BOTTOM, RIGHT: Lori Dunn, recipi- ent of Girls' P.E. award, American Legion award, Freshman Business and Professional Women's Scholarship of 8300, and the Jaycee scholarship of S50. LEFT: Chuck Gintz, recipient of Alex- andria Civitan Club citizenship award. BELOW, LEFT: Jonathan Strahan, accepted to the Air Force Academy. BELOW: Paula McBride, Valedictorian of 1975 class.
