They Make Beautiful Music Together '05, Tioga's music department is divided into two p3ItS - chorus, which includes singing classes as well as music theory, and band, offering a variety of classes. Under the direction of Mrs. Mabel Smith and Mr. Cecil Trantham, both groups made beautiful music for 1975. The band planned to take a trip to Mexico where they would give a concert, and the mixed cho- rus was invited to sing in Guinn auditorium on the campus of Louisi- ana College. During music week, the two groups presented a joint concert for the student body . ABOVE: Mrs. Doris Robert, science teacher, and Mrs. Mabel Smith, music teacher. retired this year. fi Familiar Faces These are a few of the many faces we, as stu- dents, come in contact with every day. They are the faces of those willing and devoted teachers who are always around to give us the assistance we need in learning and growing here at THS. Many teachers spend long hours, with relatively few rewards, as sponsors of various clubs and activi- ties. They help to make our years at Tioga mem- orable ones. Each year the resources available grow and improve. Not only are books and magazines available to the student, but also tapes, records, films, and even microfilm. It is the task of our librarians, Mrs. Roshto and Miss Gates, to keep these things in good order and flowing through the stu- dent body .
