Teamwork After four long weeks of summer practice, the Mighty Indians looked forward to the start of the 1974-75 football season. With six starting seniors returning, and a good stock of experienced juniors, the Indians' first outing at the Pineville Jambo- ree seemed to show a lot of promise for the coming year. Unfortunately, a few games later the Mighty Indi- ans' pride took a fatal blow with the injury of one of their finest ath- letes, Chris Williams. From that time on, the Indians could only muster enough will to play, not to win. The Indians recorded their only victory at Jena during Jena's homecoming. The season ended with the Indians very disappointed but with many lessons well learned. OPPOSITE, TOP, LEFT: Wayne Erwin sneaks around the end.
