With the team led by senior star Bruce Boughton and freshmen sensations Keith Stark and Matt Kaminski, Coach Farley looked forward to the conference crown. But as in past seasons, lack of experience proved fatal, and the Ti- tan Harriers failed to bring home conference honors. Undaunted, Mr. Farley is looking forward to next season, when his young runners will have gained experience from this past year.

The Titan Gvrestlers did their boasting on the mats, and became the team to beat by win- ning the S.l.C.A. souwth confe1r- ence. The Titans had four cham- pions: Dan Rogers, Bob Januszew- ski, Rick Zolner, and Dean Schultz. Ed Weber took a second place. Third places Went to Bill Buettner, Jim Antonson, Brad Bose, and Herb Kuklies. Dean Schultz took first place at the Rich Central District and Dan Rogers placed second. Dean Schultz, a sophomore, went on to take third at the Rich East Sectional. The Titan Wrestlers dual meet record was 8-7-1, and 5-0-1 in conference.
