The steady drizzle outside showed no sign of damp- ening the victory spirit inside at the TPHS homecoming dance. Everyone enjoyed themselves dancing to the mu- sic of Burnt Sienna. The presentation of the king and queen and their court was the highlight of the evening for all the students, faculty, and alumni. Last year's king and queen, Kim Webster and Don Stine, return for an evening of fun with old friends. Our winter play, Cactus Flower, opened its two- night stand December 7th. Despite bitterly cold Wea- ther, general disorganization, and a few slight mishaps, the presentation went on with nary a hitch. The hilar- ious two-act comedy, directed by Ms. Deatra Kinney and Yvonne Lucero, delighted the audiences with out- standing performances by Vickie Boersma, Chris Kar- as, Paul Tamminga, and Steve Wiley.
