NE FACES Mrs. Fittanto offers a helping hand to keep the line moving smoothly. 1 10 Can this be for real? Some freshmen appear satisfied with their new schedules. Two new faces attend to the Urigorsi' of registration. Registration was the first big event of the year. With our 200 new students from the Hillcrest area, in addition to the Freshman Class, the word of the week was 'CHAOS., But, that's not all! Classes were closing by the dozen, and students spent the better part of the day arranging and rearranging their schedules , . Having a schedule OK'd on the first try was an unseen thing. Students who during the summer withstood sun stroke, sunburn and heat exhaustion, now withstood writers' cramp and nervous breakdowns. Registration was not all bad though, for many students it was re- warding, good classes, good teachers, and most important, good hours. As registration ended and the students left, only a few crumpled pa- pers and a few forlorn desks marked the beginning of one of the most exciting years for Tinley Park.
