OSCAR ERICKSON In Memoriam People come and go as the years do. But why is it that the people we cherish the most always leave too soon? Oscar Erickson was one of those people. A lot of us can still 'picture him, broom in hand, sweeping TPHS halls. We used to kid him about it. Sometimes he'd seem to get mad, but then he'd kind of smile and laugh to himself. Oscar was admitted to St. Francis Hospital after suffering a heart attack. There were get well cards and contributions sent by many of us. Oscar and his family appreciated every thoughtfulness. On March 14, after seven years of faithful service to TPHS, Oscar died at the age of 69.
